Also featuring a purpose designed event complex, Australis Retreat at Wisemans is ideal for conferences, business meetings and special events. The resort grounds boast a stunning wedding garden with a romantic gazebo perfect for ceremonies and marquee receptions against the magnificent backdrop of the Hawkesbury.
The resort's Riverbend Restaurant & Bar features a contemporary menu masterfully created by award-winning chefs and inspired by the freshest local produce.
Location
From the City
Cross the Harbour Bridge and follow the signs for Epping (do not take the Pacific Highway exit) along the Gore Hill Freeway. Continue on Epping Road and then on to the M2 Motorway. Take the 2nd exit after the toll, sign posted to Castle Hill and turn right on to Pennant Hills Road. At Thompsons Corner turn left on to Castle Hill Road and turn right at the 2nd set of traffic lights on to New Line Road. Then follow the signs for Wisemans Ferry.
From Parramatta
Follow Pennant Hills Road to Thompsons Corner. Turn left on to Castle Hill Road and follow the directions as above From the City.
Accommodation
The guest bedrooms have been designed or upgraded to provide delegates maximum comfort in a user friendly work environment. A study desk, direct in-dial telephones with data ports to allow easy access to E-mail or the web (every room has its own phone number), ample natural light and full blackout facilities, Foxtel, Ironing facilities, hair dryers, air conditioning, and importantly, great views.

Recreational Facilities
Recreational facilities include our own 9 hole golf course, 2 floodlit tennis courts, beach volleyball, 25m salt water pool, wading pool and games room. There is an abundance of early settlement and convict history to explore while on a 4WD tour or bush walking in the nearby National Parks, and with a host of river activities available there is also plenty to do in the region. To compliment these activities we also have a massage and beauty salon to revitalise the weary body.
Outdoor training and team building is also a part of the Retreat, either on site or in the nearby Dharug National Park. Abseiling, canoeing and high ropes courses can be arranged through a local company formed to cater to the Retreats demands.
Technical Facilities
All standard audiovisual equipment is included in quotes and includes flip charts, whiteboards, TV, video, OHP and screens. The 2 main conference suites have the additional advantage of having a private office for the facilitators and delegates use. These offices are equipped with computer, fax, printer and dedicated phone/data lines. To ensure every event held at the Retreat runs smoothly there is at least one fully trained member of staff based in the conference centre office throughout the duration of the event.
