The Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) is the premier Sydney harbourside venue space boasting breathtaking views of The Rocks and Circular Quay.
The OPT offers space for a variety of different indoor and outdoor events from exhibitions,seminars,product and sporting launches, fashion shows, film shoots, lavish dinners to live sites, festivals and more.
The venue has 3 user-friendly venue spaces: the Arrivals, Customs and Cargo Halls - all with permanently fitted rigging points around the ceiling with weight loadings over 1 tonne per point making the creative potential infinite.
This inspiring venue space offers clients the flexibility of a blank canvas with non-stop creative possibilities against a backdrop of the scenic panoramic views of the world renowned famous city skyline.
Location
The OPT is set in the heart of historic Sydney Cove, at the foot of Sydney's Harbour Bridge and directly opposite the iconic Sydney Opera House - its location is central providing many transport options.
Guests can arrive by train or Ferry to Sydney's Circular Quay station and take a short five minute walk to the venue. Or alternatively they can drive and park directly at the venue accessible via corner of George and Argyle Streets in the Rocks.
Catering Information
Currently, OPT has eleven (11) Gold Licensed Caterers who feature on our preferred Supplier panel.
Whether the client requires a cash bar for public exhibition or full 3 course meal for a prestigious dinner, our caterers will be able to assist.

Accolades
At the BT Publishing E-Awards for excellence in events held on Tuesday 11th August 2009, The Overseas Passenger Terminal was been named 'Venue of the Year'.
The awards, made up of ten categories, including best venue of the year Australia wide, were judged on a series of questions about how the venue and its management contributed to make the event a success.
